📸 I remember how this piece of cedar smelled when I sanded the top plate. Warm and rich with a dark sweetness.
Do you prefer spruce or cedar soundboards? You'll hear that cedar is best for fingerstyle players, but it really depends on how you build with it, the body shape, bracing, etc. Not to mention you, the player.
I love making guitars for specific players, tweaking the internal bracing and preparing the wood to get a certain result.
